honey oat raw bars

I'm a snacker, so I LOVE having easy and healthy snacks on hand during the week! It makes life so much easier in my (humble) opinion.


Granola bars are a fave around my house, and while I'm guilty of definitely buying store-bought every once in a while, there's nothing that beats these homemade bars!


Whole ingredients and NO cooking required. It doesn't get much better.


I'm lucky if these hang around the whole week! The ingredients are easy to find and probably things you already have on hand, so give it a try!


INGREDIENTS

2 cups of oats

5 pitted dates

1/2 cup smooth, all-natural almond butter (only ingredient should be almonds)

3/4 cup melted coconut oil

1 tbsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

1/3 cup walnuts

2 scoops of collagen (or protein)


DIRECTIONS

1. Place all ingredients in a food processor. Pulse until dates are chopped and a thick and sticky consistency forms.

2. Remove mixture and place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3. Flatten the mixture on to sheet, creating an even 1/2 inch thickness throughout.

4. Place in fridge for an hour. This allows mixture to firm up and hold together.

5. Cut into bars and enjoy!
