Oat Waffles

The thickest, fluffiest, most delicious breakfast you've had in so long. These oat waffles are one of my favorites for so many reasons. The oats provide fiber and whole grains, while banana and pure maple syrup add a touch of natural sweetness. No artificial sugars over here! This means smooth digestion, no bloating and sustainable energy.


You'll be ready to attack the day feeling good about what you've put into your body. What more can you ask for?!




Say goodbye to boring breakfasts

Breakfast can be SO boring. Most people revert to the same, tried and true, quick and easy breakfast they've always had - even if it isn't that good (or filling). Sound familiar? If you're ready for a breakfast revamp, then LEAN IN! These waffles are for YOU. I'm whipping up some delicious gluten-free, grain-free waffles that you will love. Full of complex carbs, natural sweetness and whole foods that will keep you feeling so good!

Ingredients

When creating your waffles you'll need:

2 cups rolled oats 1 cup water 1 cup almond milk (or non-dairy milk of choice) 1 banana 2 tbsp pure maple syrup 1/4 tsp sea salt 1 tsp pure vanilla extract 2 tsp coconut oil


Directions

1. Place all ingredients except oil into a blender and blend until smooth.

2. Let stand 15-20 minutes until batter thickens. If batter is too thick to pour easily, add a little water.

3. Heat oil in frying pan or skillet.

4. Pour into a heated waffle iron and cook for 10 minutes.
